The K9-DOG seems kinda similar to Deep Sea Prisoner character sprites
Well I'm a big fan of Deep Sea Prisoner's works and especially her art style so... yeah your eyes don't lie.
By the way (although it's quite strange to me), I think you're the first person to notice.
